An original oil on paper painting by well-listed landscape painter Michael L. Scott (Ohio/Kansas, 1952- ), titled Fallen Spruce, Lake Superior. The image depicts tall, spindly trees growing on the rocky banks of the scenic lake at sunrise, the terrain dotted with orange wildflowers. Title is written in pencil to the lower left margin; artist signature is signed in pencil to lower right. The painting is mounted behind off-white mat, under glass, in a beveled wood frame with a natural dark finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
