18th c. English Mahogany Knife Box

Item Details

An antique 18th century English knife box. This box is constructed of mahogany with checkered string inlay along the edges of the piece. The box has a brass locking mechanism (no key present) and two side brass bail handles. The lid opens to reveal a parquetry inlaid star and numerous slots for knife storage with matching rope detail.

Condition

Good for age, some chips to inlay and no key included.
