Cherubic Figurines
Item Details
A collection of cherubic figurines. This includes two kneeling robed cherubs of a 1950s Valentine card style, one with a puppy and the other with a violin, with no discernible marking. The largest piece is of a reclining putto holding up a ruffled edged dish, manufactured by the Japanese firm I.W. Rice & Co. Inc. Hanging from this are two separate ceramic putti, of a different finish.
Condition
- there is evidence of old repairs to the wings of the individual cherubs.
