Music Box Aviary
Item Details
A brass tone aviary music box with two birds. The finial has a hook loop with a heart-motif design and red rhinestones provided as accents. The domed-top birdcage contains two birds, one an American Goldfinch, the other resembling a Scarlet Tanager. They rest on small brown perches with a tree vine and two red flowers below them. The base of the cage is a brass tone bulbous ornate fern frond design, continuing with the red rhinestone accents. It stands on four legs.On the bottom is a sticker saying ‘2 – Birds’and a twist-key for priming the music box, which doesn’t work.
Condition
- cosmetically the cage’s wear is consistent with age and use but they music box itself does not play. Birds still move their tails.
