A folio titled Set of Six Prints of 1929 Etchings of the University of Pennsylvania after Ernest D. Roth. The sepia toned set of etching are housed in their original folder and depict various buildings on the campus. The plates have the artist printed signature and the date 1929. Ernest D. Roth (American,1879-1964) was born in Stuttgart, Germany and settled in America at the age of five. He studied under instructors such as Edgar Ward at the National Academy of Design and at the New York School of Art under F. Luis Mora. Examples of his works are included in the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, The Art Institute of Chicago, the Victoria and Albert Museum, and many other prominent institutions.
