This painting features a stream to the foreground with rocks and grassy banks, trees to the middle and background. Signed and dated ‘1900’ to lower right. Presented in a wood frame. Edward Parker Hayden was an American painter originally from Haydenville, Ohio. He spent his early years in Columbus, Ohio before settling in Massachussets.

Condition

damage to surface of painting; some missing pigment and scrapes; two small holes; needs restoration; frame is very damaged.
