Pair of Gorham Collectors Plates Teddy Bear and Doll

A pair of Gorham collectors plates. Includes a plate titled Miss Emily, Bearing Up created in a limited edition of 1737/5000, designed by Beverly Port, depicting Miss Emily gazing devotedly at a portrait of her husband, Bearon Boots. This delightful piece is part of ‘The Beverly Port Time Machine Teddies’ series and was issued in 1986, and numbered 1737/5000. The other plate depicts_Lucille_ Parisian doll from the factory of Pere Schmitt et fils, who was originally purchased in 1891 and eventually donated to the Yesteryears Doll Museum. This plate is numbered 4348/5000 and comes with a certificate of authenticity and original box.
