"Secret" Bronze Sculpture After Claude Michel Clodion
Item Details
A reproduction bronze sculpture after French Rococo sculptor Claude Michel Clodion (1738-1814) titled Secret. It depicts a young girl with a dark maroon dress and a grouping of flowers in her arm; while her head is peaking down, there is a putti with his arms around her whispering untold secrets into her ear. There is added color to the sculpture such as green to the flower and greenery on the ground, red to the girl’s dress and hair band, and a darker slate color to both of the figures’ hair and the putti’s outfit. The sculpture is attached to a green and black marble round base with a brass tone plaque reading ‘Secret Claude Michel Clodion’.
