A Royal Doulton Valentine’s Day 1976 collectible plate. The rim of the plate is accented in gold, the border has a raised floral design that is accented with pink roses. The center design features a young boy and girl in Victorian attire and marked ’Valentine’s Day 1976’. The plate is marked to the underside with maker’s mark and saying ‘Many things must fade from view, As the circling seasons range: But may happiness with you, Never fade and never change- Tender, as my wish, and true, Which no future shall estrange!’ Comes in original presentation box.
