Vintage Appliqued Skirt Depicting Matador in a Bull Fight
Item Details
A vintage appliquéd matador Renoir Original skirt. This one-of-a-kind gray skirt features hand stitched appliqué of a colorful matador flinging his red cape in front of a bull which has been pierced with his sword. Three roses adorn the hemline. Tiny beads and rhinestones decorate the matador’s costume, the sword, the bull’s eye, and the rose stems. It is stitch signed ‘Renoir’ near the bull. It has a band to the waist with a ‘Renoir Original’ tag.
Condition
Some fading in fabric. One rhinestone gem is missing to the sword. This is a stiff skirt.
Dimensions
Measurement of a box for shipping purposes. The skirt size is unmarked, but measures approximately 26.5" at the waist and 30.5" in length.
