A set of Rossetti Chicago ‘spring violets’ hand painted china. This set includes on 16 inch wide platter, one 11.5 inch wide lidded, handled serving dish, thirteen 4 inch wide teacups, two coordinating 3 inch tall Lefton egg cups, one coordinating 2.5 inch tall Royal Heidelberg toothpick holder, one 9.25 inch wide gravy boat and under plate, one 4 inch tall coordinating unmarked porcelain cup, thirteen 5.5 inch wide berry bowls, thirteen 6 inch wide saucers, thirteen 6 inch wide bread plates, fourteen 8 inch desert plates, and thirteen 10 inch dinner plates. Each piece features a lovely purple violet motif with gold gilded scalloped rim. all china pieces are stamped with the Rossetti crown emblem to underside and also say ‘Spring violets, hand painted, made in occupied Japan’.
