Charak Furniture Co. 1930 Colonial Revival Wood China Cabinet

This mahogany color wood china cabinet has a tag inside indicating it was handmade in the workshops of the Charak Furniture Company, Boston, in 1930. Beautiful cathedral style arched glass panes, dentil moulding, dovetailed drawers, broken pediment with urn shaped finial at the top and fine brass eagle motif bails, along with talon and ball feet. Features adjustable shelves with routed grooves to stand china plates for display. Also felted wood panel slides out below glass area and above drawers to serve as work area. Model no. 2118.
Condition
Window glazing has chipped off in spots. Feet and skirting show light signs of wear.
