An authentic 1964 Gibson Melody Maker electric guitar in a coffin case, produced in Kalamazoo, Michigan, with original strap. Designed as an entry-level guitar for beginners on a budget, the Melody Maker was Gibson’s best-selling guitar during the golden era of the late 1950s to early 1960s. Equipped with single coil pickup, adjustable truss rod, and solid mahogany body with sunburst finish. Serial number 157727. The guitar is accompanied by a coffin style carrying case with crimson felt lining, storage pocket and a Korg GA-30 guitar/bass tuner powered by two AAA batteries.
