Lewis Cisle Original Pastel on Paper Drawing "Miami Chief"

Item Details

An original pastel on paper drawing titled Maimi Chief by wildlife artist Lewis Cisle, created in 1982. The drawing features the profile of a Native American chief with his hair plaited to the side and a bun to the top, eyes partially shut with his mouth agape. It is signed and dated to the lower right. Presented behind glass in a gilt frame with white and black double matting and a wire to the verso.
Cisle received training at the Art Academy of Cincinnati and Miami University and currently resides in Swanville, Maine.
