An original oil on canvas painting by listed artist Jules Duffart (France, 1924- ), depicting a quaint town on a harbor with two docked sailboats floating quietly on the water. This vantage reflects a possible homage to Daubigny who often painted from his floating studio. Signed by the artist to the lower right corner. The painting is mounted behind a linen liner in a beveled wood frame with carved details and a gilt finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso.
