Circa Late 19th-Century John Forrest Pocket Watch
Item Details
A circa late 19th-century John Forrest pocket watch. This watch has a gold tone dial with black Roman numerals, a very slender minute hand and a spade hour hand, marked ‘John Forrest, London’ to the center and ‘Swiss Made’ to the bottom. The reverse has a hinged back that opens to the movement and has three shield-shaped cartouches in relief to the interior of the lid marked ‘N,’ ‘J,’ and ‘1st.’
