A silver gelatin photograph by well-listed photographer Edward Steichen (Luxembourg/New York, 1879 – 1973), titled Homeless Women: The Depression taken in 1924 and posthumously printed in 1986 by George Tice. The photograph depicts Miss Fanny seated in a window. Sticker to verso “Edward Steichen Homeless Women: The Depression. New York1932. Printed from the original negative by George Tice with the authorization and approval of Joanna T. Steichen. 1984-86,” signed by George and Joanna. Presented mounted on white board.
