A Shraga Weil signed artist proof serigraph. This tranquil print on paper by Shraga Weil (Israel, 1918 – 2009) depicts a woman in a long gown playing a flute. It is rendered in layers of metallic, translucent, and opaque inks in hues of gold, aqua, white, and rust. It is marked with the artist’s mark to the lower left in the screen, signed in pencil to the lower right, and marked ‘E/A’ (épreuve d’artiste or artist’s proof) in pencil to the lower left margin. It is presented under an off white mat in a simply carved wood frame with acrylic glass and a wire to the verso for hanging.
