A Louis XIV style fauteuil chair. The chair is comprised of mixed wood construction having carved arm rests, a scrolled base and rising on carved cabriole legs featuring an intentionally distressed black craquelure finish accented in gold. The padded back and seat are upholstered in a woven jacquard fabric, with double welted trim. No marks to indicate a manufacturer.
