A limited edition Artist’s Proof offset lithograph reproduction of an acrylic on canvas painting by Croatian-French painter Jovan Obiĉan (1918 – 1986), titled Musical Umbrella. The print, naivete image is typical of Obiĉan’s style; it depicts several musicians and a flock of birds gathered around an umbrella. The forms have thin black outlines and are filled with bright patches of primary colors. The print was published in 1991 by Obiĉan’s son, Lazar; it is signed by him and labeled ’Artist’s Proof Edition 1000’ in pencil to the lower margin. The print is presented behind glass in a metallic silver tone metal frame. A hanging wire is attached to the verso. More information about the artist can be found under Additional Information.
