Original Watercolor in Style of Itzchak Tarkay

An original watercolor painting on thick watercolor paper with a thick, glossy topcoat. The painting is in the style of well-listed Serbian-Israeli artist Itzchak Tarkay (1935-2012), but is signed ‘Beverly’ with an illegible last name to the lower right. The painting depicts a bright, stylized woman in large hat staring down at a bouquet of vibrant blooms. The painting is triple-matted in baby blue, beige, and off-white and is presented in a beveled wooden frame with a gold tone metallic outer covering. A wire is attached to the piece’s verso for hanging.

Condition

- heavy water damage to lower edge of matting. Light scratching across frame.
