A nearly antique St. Louis Post-Dispatch from October 6th, 1918. The headline reads ‘German Chancellor Proposes Armistice While Belligerent Plenipotentiaries Discuss Peace Terms’ on this issue, which was printed barely more than a month before the end of WWI. The paper is protected by a plastic pouch, which reads ‘St. Louis Dispatch / Phyllis Wright Wham / Thanks Classmates 37, 38 & 39’. Also included are a certificate of authenticity and ownership, and printed materials from the 50th anniversary for the classes of 1937 through 1939 from Centralia High School.

- some discoloration and wear with age.
