An offset lithograph reproduction of an original painting by well-known British genre artist Roy Cross (1924 – ), titled New Orleans. Cross was best-known for his realistic paintings of airplanes and boats. His images were printed on the boxes of the popular Airfix model kits. This print depicts a large riverboat pulled up to a bustling dock in New Orleans. The print is signed in-plate to the lower left. It is double-matted in white and blue and is presented behind glass in a beveled wooden frame with natural finish. A hanging wire is attached to the verso. A tag on the verso states that the piece was custom framed by E.H. Russell Glass Company in Portsmouth, Ohio. More information about the artist can be found under Additional Information.
