WDCC Walt Disney Classics Collection Porcelain ornament of Dumbo from the 1941 animated classic movie. Designed Gwen Dutcher as part of the Timeless Treasures collection and titled “When I See An Elephant Fly.” The bottom of the sculpture has the Dwarfs’ pick ax mark, which dates it to 1998, available for purchase from 09/19/1998 – 09/20/1998 during the 1998 Fall Open House Ornament Event or participating dealers on thosetwo days. The entirety of the sculpture is porcelain except for a bronze Timothy Mouse and a gold cord attached to a metal loop on top of Dumbo’s head. The sculpture also comes with a fluffy cloud for a base for display. The statue has the WDCC logo backstamp, titled Dumbo & Timothy © Disney to the bottom in green and gold, and a clear sticker on the bottom that reads “Thailand, Thailande” in gold lettering. The piece comes with original box, unopened certificate of authenticity, original plastic sleeve, styrofoam and plastic covering, and all original inserts. The Dumbo sculpture stands 3” tall and the cloud base is 1”, item number is: 11K-41283-0 (Old)/1028747 (Current).
