A 1980 signed limited edition hand-pulled lithograph on paper by well-listed American artist Alice Asmar (California/Michigan, 1929 -), titled Mystic Rose. The stunning print depicts a trangular formed filled with an abstracted collage of birds, a woman, floral patterns, and a tall rose. The print is signed and dated in pencil to the lower right and is titled in pencil to the lower left. A note in the center reads: ‘1. working proof – not for sale.’ This working proof is very desirable from the collector’s point of view as it shows process and is more singular than a print of the edition.The print is presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation. Asmar works across several mediums and her works are in several hundred public and private collections in the United States and Europe, including the Smithsonian Institution.
