Listed artist William was a Cincinnati native born in 1918, a craftsman and illustrator whose landscape paintings were exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago. This piece on paper depicts a vivid impressionist river view. The piece is artist signed in black to bottom left, matted in beveled wood beneath glass and framed in an ornate molded wood with a deep bevel.

- slight paper loss to edges consistent with age, nicks, dings and finish loss to frame, some deterioration to paper backing
