G. de Angelis Original Watercolor

Item Details

A vintage original watercolor on paper signed in paint to the lower right by artist G. de Angelis, dated 1962. The image depicts two stylized horses and two human figures, rendered in loose, gestural shapes, against a nebulous purple and blue backdrop. The painting is set behind glass in flat frame wrapped in burlap with silver tone wood exterior and interior edges. A hanging wire is attached to the verso, as well as an Alan Brown Gallery label of Hartsdale, New York, that identifies the artist as ‘Arigello.’

Condition

- finish of frame is damaged and worn along edges and corners, with chips and scuffs throughout.
