A Stoneleigh Mahogany Townsend and Goddard style block front chest. Features four drawers, with the top drawer featuring seashell style carvings incised and in relief. The four drawers each feature brass batwing cutout bails and pulls and the three bottom drawers feature brass batwing cutout faux escutcheons. The chest rests on four carved bracket feet. The interior is marked with a plaque noting Stoneleigh Mahogany, 1924-1994, 60th Anniversary Commemorative Collection, Stanley Furniture Company.
