Antique Cast Iron Grinder with Vintage Sifter and Grater
Item Details
An antique cast iron grinder with vintage sifter and grater. The meat grinder features a hinged and latched lid which opens to reveal the grinding gears and blades that turn via a crank with turned wood handle. The legs have holes for bolts to attach the grinder to a board for stability. It is stamped to the body ‘Patented Aug. 2 1859 / Ext, Aug. 2, 1873.’ The vintage metal flour sifter is embossed with a simple floral motif to the side.
Condition
Wear consistent with age and use. Rust to the grinder. Some missing hardware. Grinder was not tested at time of cataloging.
