A compelling embossed fiber work by Mississippi paper sculptor Blanche Batson (1929-2001). This work is entitled Happy Child III, and is on white fiber paper. The semi-abstract forms exhibit joyous movement expressed in outstretched arms and dancing feet. Signed in pencil by artist to lower right, numbered 6 of 200 to lower center, with title to lower left. Beautifully presented in multiple white matting offering a beveled, dimensional inner framework, held in a silver metal frame, under glass.
