Vintage Metal Mesh Evening Bag

Item Details

A vintage metal mesh evening bag in the style of Whiting & Davis. The gold tone purse is made of glittering metal mesh with a fringe of small brass rings along the bottom. It is gathered at the base of the round neck, which expands to access the interior. When the neck is constricted, it closes with a round, smooth, gold tone metal cap. There is a short chain handle at the top. No maker’s marks were noted.
