Item Details

A circa 1920s excelsior stuffed toy horse in the style of ‘Spark Plug’. The horse features a black cotton covering with jointed neck and a cotton fringe trimmed mane. The eyes are made of stitched jute and the horse wears a yellow cotton blanket with red trim. Unmarked by the maker.

Condition

- tearing to the fabric covering with sewn repairs and exposed stuffing. There are holes in yellow fabric blanket covering.
