Southeast Asian Headdress with Iron Stand

Item Details

A Southeast Asian headdress with iron stand. The elaborate headdress originated from Thailand, and is from the Akha tribe. It is made of woven natural fibers with a mesh-like fabric supporting exquisite beadwork. The beads are made of metal, glass or ceramic, with colorful tassels of yarn and feathers. Included with the headdress is a square iron stand with a dark finish.

Used condition; beads may be missing in spots.
