Vintage Enameled Mesh Purse from Whiting & Davis Co.

Item Details

A delicate and colorful enameled mesh purse from Whiting & Davis Co. out of Massachusetts, circa late 1920s. This purse has geometric Art Deco designs in colors of green, pink, orange and blue on a white and gray background. The top is embossed silver tone metal with a chain handle. The closure is floral shaped and enameled. It is signed with the Whiting & Davis name on the inside of the top. The lower edge has diamond points. Follow the link to learn the company history.
