Mid-Century Vintage 14K Yellow Gold Imitation Alexandrite Cocktail Ring

A mid-century vintage 14k yellow gold imitation alexandrite cocktail openwork ring. Composed of a 20 × 15 mm oval faceted synthetic color-change corundum stone-used to imitate alexandrite, which was popular in the 1950s. The sides have split wire which tapers down to the shank, and is accented with tiny gold ball beads at the top sides of the mounting. Marked 14k with initials on the exterior of soldered shank.
