A large Mid Century Modern Forest Splendor oil on canvas by John Bordin. The artwork features a bright autumn forest abstract landscape rendered in bold layered paints against a cream tone ground. It is presented without glass nor mat in a carved yellow wood frame with linen inset and wire to the verso for hanging. Bordin was a twentieth century artist and a native Californian. The back includes original gallery sales tag and biographical and artist information.

Condition

Some discoloration commensurate with age noted. The frame has some scratches and wear and one of the frame braces is missing in the back.
