Kimball Upright Piano

Item Details

A Kimball Console upright hardwood piano with bench. The piece has a lattice-shaped music rack, mahogany veneers, patinated brass knobs to the fall, and patinated brass pedals. The keys are ivory in color and appear to be celluloid or plastic. It has tapered square legs with fluted decoration to the stiles, and brass sabots and casters to the feet. The bench has a blue padded seat and tapered legs. It is tagged that is has ‘been processed by Kimball’s Exclusive Mezzo-Thermal Stabilizer to insure unsurpassed tonal stability.’ The interior of the key cover carries the W.W. Kimball Company applied stamps of the maker. Marked ‘734326.’
