Vintage Art Deco Westminster Belcanto Hermle German Mantel Clock
Item Details
A vintage Art Deco mantel clock manufactured by Hermle of Germany. It features a mahogany veneer case accentuated with brass lines, applied scrolls, and feet. The dial is white with brass tone Arabic numbers for 12, 3, 6, and 9 and is behind a round glass paned door. It reads ‘Westminster Belcanto’. There is a door to the verso which reveals the movements; they are marked with FHS for Hermle and ‘340-020’ which indicates a balance escapement movement type. The clock includes a key, but does not run after being wound.
