Pair of Antique French Mother of Pearl Opera Glasses
Item Details
A pair of antique French mother of pearl opera glasses. The glasses date to the late nineteenth century; each brass eyecap is inlaid with mother of pearl and marked LeMaire FI Paris. Each barrel is fitted with faceted mother of pearl and joined by a brass bridge with brass focusing ring. The objective lenses are set in brass. An original leather carrying case is also included.
