A 1976 Baldwin 41’ spinet piano. This American-made piano has a highly decorated upper panel with a carved lattice pattern. the hinged music rack has a matching lattice pattern with a pierced design and an incised border and carved finial. The recessed fall board has two brass pulls. The lower panel has a matching lattice pattern down the middle above the sustain and mute pedals. The keyboard sits on two turned legs with caster feet. The bench has an overhanging top and an undecorated skirt on four turned legs. Under the lid is a label that says ‘Baldwin, Quality Features Found in Baldwin Pianos, Exclusive 19-ply pinblock, Exclusive Full-Blow Action, Famous Baldwin scale, Baldwin-built hammers, Solid spruce soundboard, Built in the Tradition of Baldwin Grand Pianos.’ The metal plate with the tuners is marked ‘Baldwin Made in USA,1196296.’
