Late 1800's Walnut G.W. Gates Patent Rotary Folding Table
Item Details
A late 1800’s walnut G.W. Gates Patent rotary folding table. This antique table is constructed of sturdy walnut with a cast iron rod and slide holding up the tabletop and connecting to the splayed, rosette decorated legs. The slide operates by loosening and tightening screws to raise and lower the metal rod and pivot the tabletop. Underneath the tabletop are two wood drawers with wooden knob pulls. The right drawer has instructions for operating the slide.

- condition consistent with age, metal mechanism is difficult to slide, large chip on drawer, labels in drawer not fully intact.
