Quadruple Silver Plate Tea Service by Homan Mfg. Co.

A quadruple silver plate tea service set from Homan Manufacturing Company, pattern number 2245. The Homan Manufacturing Company produced silver plate from Cincinnati, Ohio between 1847 and 1941. This set comes from the late nineteenth century to the early twentieth century and features impressed floral design to the basins. Includes a teapot, sugar and creamer vessels, and a tray. The tray is monogrammed ‘LTV’ or ‘LTN’ between 1885 and 1910 dates. Beneath the maker and pattern mark is additional mark that reads ‘Special Metal’ with an H in the smelting symbol.
Condition
- tarnished. Tray is engraved with a monogram.
