1932 Rookwood Trumpet Vase

A rare 1932 Rookwood Pottery trumpet vase. The vase features exquisite Mahogany red, green and light blue glazes rich in tonality. It has a narrow base tapering out into a wide mouth. The vase is marked to the base, “S,” indicating it was in a special series. The base is marked with the company’s logo, the letter “S”, and “XXXII” indicating the year 1932. The base of the piece has kiln marks.

Condition

- base has kiln marks from original firing, minor wear is consistent with age.
