"The First of November" Print by G. Wright

A hand tinted engraving of The First of November by George Wright (British, 1860-1942). This piece features a group of fox hunters on horses walking down a road on a cloudy day. The top right corner reads, ‘Entered according to Act of Congress in the year 1905 by E.W. Savory, Ltd. Bristol England in the office of the Librarian of Congress at Washington’, and the artist’s in-plate signature is located in the lower right-hand corner. Plate marks are visible on the paper, and the print is presented matted in a black frame.
