Knoll International Co. Leather Barcelona Chair

A leather Barcelona Chair from Knoll International Company, produced in 1977. This style was originally designed by Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Lilly Reich for International Exposition of 1929 in Barcelona, Spain. The chair has steel flat bar frame, finished in chrome and standing on curule style legs with brown tufted leather upholstered back and seat cushions. The chair retains the upholstery label ‘Knoll International,’ dated on reverse in blue ink, ‘1-28-77.’
