An original watercolor painting by well-listed Cincinnati artist Jack Meanwell (1919-2005), titled Landscape. The masterful painting depicts a rural home nestled in an expansive landscape dotted trees and bushes. It is signed in watercolor to the lower right. The painting is matted in white and presented behind glass in a modern wooden frame with eyehooks for hanging. A tag on the verso gives the artist’s name and the piece’s title. Meanwell was an instructor at the Art Academy of Cincinnati for over twenty-five years and holds a special place among collected Cincinnati painters.
