Hermes "Plaisirs du Froid" Silk Scarf

A classic and hard to find authentic Hermes Paris silk scarf titled ‘Plaisirs du Froid’ or Pleasures of the Cold. One of the iconic Hermes patterns to show Parisian gentlemen wearing ice skates in different poses at the border with the center scene illustrating fanciful horse drawn swan carriages for the pleasure of the ladies, all in period dress. The scarf enjoys hand sewn edges rolled toward the front with the title of the scene at the top of the image and ‘Hermes Paris’ at the bottom. This scarf is in the gold colorway which is fortunate because it can be worn with anything from your favorite jeans and a t-shirt to a black tie event making it a wise investment.
Condition
The scarf has been gently worn and the previous owner chose to remove the care tag. There is one spot at the lower left corner and a tiny spot at the top.
