A signed original oil on canvas painting by listed artist John Nielson (1881-1954). Painted during the 1920s or 1930s, this double portrait depicts a seated boy and a young girl. Signed by the artist to the lower left, the painting is presented unframed. A listed artist from Wisconson, Nielson was known for his portrait painting.

Condition

Signs of wear present. The edges of the canvas are tearing were the stretcher comes into contact with it. Craquelure throughout. There are some small tears in the canvas along the top half.
