Signed and Numbered Limited Edition Print by Charles Fracé

A signed and numbered photorealistic offset lithographic print of an adolescent Canadian Lynx hidden among leaves and branches, titled Hideaway by listed artist Charles Fracé. Fracé (American, 1926 – 2005) is known for his remarkably detailed and lifelike depictions of wildlife. His work has been the subject of a one-man show at the Smithsonian Institution’s National Museum of Natural History, he is listed in Who’s Who in American Art, and he exhibited in more than 450 exhibitions in his lifetime. This print is signed in-plate and in gold ink to the lower right, with the edition number, 1739 of 3950. It is double matted in taupe and wheat-colored canvas, and presented in a walnut-toned and black stepped ogee frame. The original print folio envelope is tucked into the backing paper to the verso, with an affixed ‘Affidavit of Limited Edition’ bearing the edition number. Professionally framed, ready to hang.
