Item Details
A striking hand knotted Chinese Ch’ing Dynasty carved rug in dense 100% virgin wool. The area rug has a pale gray field with a dramatic center medallion, black and camel borders with a repeating geometric pattern and hand knotted fringe at both ends. The plush nature of the rug is due to using 4 ply yarn and 8100 knots per square foot. The rug was sold through Trans-Ocean, Inc., NY.
Condition
The rug was very recently professionally cleaned and has not been used since cleaning. The rug and the fringe are in excellent condition.
